Vintage Garments
Our vintage garments undergo an acid bleaching process designed to create an intentionally worn and aged appearance.
This process affects both the garment and the graphics, giving each piece its distinctive faded, vintage look and feel.
As part of the acid washing process, it is completely normal to see small speckled or scattered bleach marks across the garment. These marks are a natural result of the bleaching technique and help create the unique vintage finish.
Bleach speckling, fading and variations caused by the acid washing process are intentional and are not considered a fault.
Black Washed Garments
Our black washed garments undergo a similar acid bleaching process to create a distressed and washed appearance.
Unlike our vintage garments, the graphics are designed to remain more intact, while the garment itself receives the washed and distressed finish.
In saying that, due to the nature and thickness of some printed graphics, it is completely normal for the print to develop small cracks or signs of wear over time, particularly with regular washing and wear. This is a normal characteristic of thicker printed graphics and is not considered a fault.
As with our vintage garments, you may notice small speckled bleach marks or variations in the wash. This is completely normal and is part of the intended finish of the garment.
Please Note
Due to the nature of acid washing and bleaching, no two garments will be exactly the same. Slight variations in colour, fading, speckling and overall finish are expected and are part of what makes each garment unique.
Due to the pre washing and bleaching process, some garments may also have a stronger odour when first received. This is normal for products that have undergone these treatments and does not indicate a fault with the garment.
The odour will naturally fade with washing, airing and regular wear. We recommend following the care instructions on the garment when washing.
Variations in colour, fading, bleach speckling, finish and initial odour associated with the washing and bleaching process are normal characteristics of these garments and are not considered faults.
